First established in 1972 as Frank Ramsay & Company, today Carter Lindsay & Weber is owned and managed by Matthew Weber and John Lindsay. In the year 2000 after some 40 years in the industry, Frank Ramsay the businesses original proprietor decided to retire, Mark Carter, already a partner then took over the business. After a long and very valued association with the industry and very well respected contribution to the business and clients, in June 2009 Mark decided to call it a day on the Agency industry. Matthew Weber and John Lindsay now own and operate Carter Lindsay & Weber. Along with Matthew & John we offer another licensed stock salesman in Shaun McHugh, and are all based out of Dubbo. The agency from its humble background still remains a compact private business, big on personal service and attention to detail. All business transactions are carried out at our premises, 76 Brisbane Street, North Dubbo by secretaries Donna Ledsham and Tracey Minney.

One of the foremost livestock auction markets in the Southern Hemisphere, Troy has always been considered a huge distribution point and clearing house with its unique geographical position - a real pace setter. It is here, whereby auction we can offer prime cattle on Thursday’s, lamb and sheep markets on Monday's every week and store cattle sales monthly. All roads lead to Dubbo and our market often services an array of buyers and sellers from over 4 states. With our firm however, it is not only by auction that we can gain you big results. Our team offers a comprehensive service in sales by private treaty, Auctions Plus, over the hooks, to feedlotters or live shippers.
